Welcum to sleazesells.com, the webshite set up by SPiT LiKE THiS to celebrate the release of their monumentous EP, "Sleaze Sells...But Who's Buying?".

This site is designed to act as an insight into the whole xxxperience.  It opened on the Eve of the recording and it will chart the event until it'z climax - the release of the EP - scheduled for May 30th 2005.

"Sleaze Sells...But Who's Buying?" is the 4th EP from SPiT LiKE THiS, but it is the very first that will be available to buy in record shopz around the land.  It is our mission to be heard by the massez so that the public at large can be infected by us.  Tired of manufactured pop; tired of bland pop starz; tired of endless cover versionz; tired of wannabez - the list of thingz that make the UK chartz devoid of excitement and originality is endless.  Even the rock bandz that do chart lack the excitement and spark of dayz gone by - despite their best attemptz to immitate.

Well, SPiT LiKE THiS does not immitate.  We INNOVATE.

Simply put, SPiT LiKE THiS is the most exciting musical force to hit the UK this millennium.  We decided on a mission, set our targetz then aimed to kill.  In the last few yearz, we have built up an Army of dedicated troopz called STREET SLuTz.  The SS spread our propoganda around their schoolz, collegez, workplacez, villagez, townz, citiez and countiez - as a result, we have becum an underground phenomenum.  We could never thank these people enough for the tireless work they do - their loyalty constantly astoundz and amazez us.  But, then again, we are providing them with the weaponz to arm themselvez with against the mainstream - against the norm.

"Sleaze Sells...But Who's Buying?" is set to becum the most important release from an unsigned band this year.  It will set the standard and it'z release will see even more bandz feebly attempting to mimic us.  So be it.  Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  However, YOU are cleverer than that.  YOU see through that.  YOU understand the difference between something that is real and something that is fake.  That is why YOU support us and why YOU have helped get us this far.

NOTEZ ON THE SONGZ
TRiCK OR MiSTREAT This track has becum a masterpiece.  I alwayz knew it was good from the first dodgy demo of it that I did but didn't realize it would be THiS good!  As a result, it was very quickly promoted to be the lead track of the EP and the one we did the video for.  It is tongue in cheek, it is debonair, it is decadent.  It sumz me up in just over 3 minutez and it is also one catchy motherfucker of a tune!

TRUST YOUR INSTiNCTS A version of this song existz on our "Anarchy For Two" Ep from 2003.  This track has alwayz been a favourite among fanz and is very popular live.  We decided to update it to make it sound more like SLT 2005 and, this is the result.  It has more bounce than the original and I love the gang vocalz!  A cracker of a song destined to live on forever!

DRAGGED KiCKiNG & SCREAMiNG I wrote this track about two weekz after we released the EP of the same name!  Confused?  You will be!!  I was sitting in the hearse one day, day-dreaming about one of our showz and I could picture some of our fanz doing what they do and this song just wrote itself!  One of the easiest songz I've ever written - it is a concise, perfect sleazy rock 'n' roll tune.  If this doesn't get someone dancing, moving and shaking, they must be dead!  The day after the first mix of this song was done, it was played at Decadence Club (Soho, London) and the dancefloor packed out so, IT WORKZ!!

GAY MAN This is an angry, loud, obnoxious, pissed off song - and it soundz it.  It soundz like it is fucking crawling out of your speakerz ready to tear you a new arsehole!  There aren't many songz that exist that have this kind of anger.  This HAS to be played loud and you HAVE to go mental to it, otherwise it just doesn't work!  It has all the energy and punk of 1977 rolled into one incredible song!
